MISSION

The Kansas City Film Commission is a non-profit organization  that provides location scouting, pre-production and production assistance and serves as a liaison between the production company, the community and the government.

The Film Commission accomplishes this by:

• fostering production in Greater Kansas City
• providing services and support to encourage film production and contribute to the growing Kansas City economy.

The Film Commission believes that vibrant film activity is not only valuable to the economy, but is necessary to guarantee the community’s continued commitment to the arts.
